The name Sapphire comes from the Latin word ‘sapphirus’ and the Greek word ‘sappheiros’ which means ‘blue stone’. Some people believed it originated from the Sanskrit word ‘sanipriya’ which means ‘dear to Saturn’.

Sapphire is the second hardest mineral after Diamond. Sapphire supports our direction in life. It also heightens our concentration and intuition which helps us seize the moment. Sapphire protects businesses from difficult situations, and promoting good team work.

Sapphire is more than jewellery, because it is used in various industries including the manufacturing of instruments, high-durability windows, watches and electronics.

Purifying Sapphire:

Put Sapphire into a glass container in sunlight for around 10 minutes, and by moonlight for as long as you want. You can also put it on white quartz (Cluster), white quartz has the strongest healing power. Sapphire can be washed in water, especially from natural water sources such as springs and waterfalls.
